Moriz — 2024
Moriz is Organic Bakery & Café in Vienna. The café offers organic vegan products, baked goods, and coffee.
This project was done as part of my internship at Same Same Studio.
The project entails creating a comprehensive website for the business using Figma for design prototyping and Shopify for implementation. It will adhere closely to the client's brand guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with their identity. The website will feature seamless functionality, emphasizing user experience principles to optimize navigation and engagement. The goal is to deliver a user-friendly interface that effectively showcases the business's offerings, including organic vegan products, baked goods, and coffee, while promoting a cohesive brand image.

Problem Statement
As the brand is new to the market, it to establish and increase awareness of the brand in the market.
— This entails developing a fully functional website that serves as a comprehensive platform for the brand. The website will feature detailed information about the brand, an integrated online store for selling organic vegan products, baked goods, and coffee, as well as functionality for customers to reserve seats at cafes.
— Additionally, the website will incorporate B2B promotion capabilities to attract potential business partners and collaborators.
— The design will prioritize user experience principles to ensure intuitive navigation and engagement, aligning closely with the client's brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive and professional image.

Solution
— Include sections that provide detailed information about the brand's mission, values, and unique selling points (USPs). Ensure that the website is responsive, fast-loading, and visually appealing to engage users effectively.
— Drive sales through the online store and cafe reservations.
— Design the website with a strong emphasis on user experience principles. Ensure intuitive navigation, clear calls-to-action, and responsive design across devices. Align the design closely with the brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive and professional image.

Design Process

Understand the brand's identity, target audience, market positioning, and specific goals for the website.
Create a visually appealing and cohesive design + design directions that aligns with the brand's identity and enhances user engagement.
Translate the approved designs into a fully functional website on the Shopify platform.
Work closely with Senior Developer and Designer to build front-end components, integrate design elements and interactions, configure e-commerce functionalities (such as product listings, cart, checkout), and ensure responsive design across devices.
Validate the implemented design for usability, functionality, and performance. Together with a Senior Developer and Designer, we conduct thorough testing to identify and address any issues or bugs, testing across various devices and browsers to ensure a seamless user experience.

Overall, the design solutions implemented through this project are expected to significantly enhance the business's market position, operational effectiveness, and customer engagement, thereby contributing to sustained growth and success in the competitive landscape.
