Medicine Leaflets — 2023
The project was part of a course on "Technical communication, terminology and information design".
In this course, I gained practical experience in applying principles of technical communication and information/interface design to real-world scenarios. I learned to transform graphical data into clear, understandable text and to incorporate text into graphical elements for technical documents.

Problem Statement
— The objective of this project was to create an informational brochure to educate pharmaceutical companies on the importance and necessity of developing user-friendly instructions for medical products.
— The primary challenge is that most instructions are written in plain text, lacking visual aids and simple, understandable language.

Solution
— To address this issue, it is essential to implement more open communication with consumers to understand their needs. To encourage pharmaceutical companies to take action, the brochure was designed to highlight the importance of creating user-friendly medical instructions, thus drawing attention to the problem and promoting the adoption of better practices.

Needs analysis and Target audience analysis
Information Selection: Extract relevant information from scientific papers, parallel texts and statistical sources for a comprehensive understanding.
Creation of Target Audience Text and Graphic Design: Develop tailored content and graphic design elements specifically aimed at the target audience.

Results
— As a result of distributing the brochure to pharmaceutical companies, there was increased awareness and understanding of the importance of user-friendly medical instructions. Several companies expressed interest in implementing changes to their instruction manuals to make them more accessible and understandable to users. This project contributed to fostering a dialogue between pharmaceutical companies and consumers, leading to potential improvements in product usability and safety.
